Thanks Bob for posting. I appreciate the authors love for baseball while still being supportive and respective of the passions, goals and competitive wishes of others. I wish the University would have done that. Maybe they will, there is still plenty of time, if pride does not get in the way. I cannot understand how the university can cut this program, especially when you think of Ron Finley working for the Duck Athletic Fund the last 9 years since his retirement as wrestling coach. He raised money for the department as a whole. Hey Thanks Fin for your efforts at building these facilities, press boxes, scholarships, moral and following for our athletic program. Now we are going to end the plight of the program that you worked at and tolied at for 27 years! Thanks Fin. He was still working for the DAF as of Friday. What a shame.
