This year's wrestling schedule, which has been firm for quite a while, appeared on the goducks.com web site a couple of weeks ago. It's a strong, attractive lineup of home meets that begins with the NCWA All-Star meet on Nov. 19 and closes with perennial power Oklahoma State on Feb. 8. Oregon State visits McArthur Court for the first dual meet of the year on Friday evening, Dec. 7. The Pac-10 Tournament occurs in Eugene on March 2-3. Home duals all take place on weekends, and only three start in the afternoon, one because it's the first half of a double-dual that culminates with a match that evening. Here's a link.We need an overwhelming show of support this year. Butts in the seats may not, by itself, save the program. But lack of interest will be taken as justification by those who executed the plan to eliminate wrestling. I'm coming from Texas on Nov. 19. Could I challenge those of you who live closer to attend two, three or more home meets this year?
