The 2007 version of the Duck may have had to do some timeout for his actions in the Houston game, but one of his predecessors supports Oregon wrestling. I got this response from my effort to mine the social networking sites:

This sounds like a great idea. As a the former mascot and track athlete at UO, I spent many days working with wrestlers in the weight room and on campus. A few of my close buddies wrestled and it is a shame that they are taking it away from the UO. I support you %100 percent. Thank you for contacting me. I wish you all the best in your crusade.
