The Hit List -- Contacts in Government and Media

At the wrestling alumni banquet in Eugene on Saturday night, Mar. 1, I was asked to provide master email lists for wrestling advocates to use in contacting important people in Oregon's state government and news media. I have expanded it as I thought of other contacts.

Note: Use this mass mailing list with forethought. If you cut and paste entire groups of email addresses, many email programs will either mark or screen out your message as "spam." In several places, I have included a web site so that you can find your individual state legislator or Duck Club officer. Consider a well-written, personal letter to key selected individuals. Then resort to a mass mailing for the others.

Do I have to ask you to write as a college graduate? I hope not. Passion is commendable in athletics and certain other human endeavors. But leave the name calling out. By now, everybody knows Pat Kilkenny didn't graduate. However, most people outside of the wrestling community have a positive opinion of him. Don't ruin an otherwise worthy appeal with verbiage that will turn others off.
